Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke. As it happened -- as she felt her brain functions slip away one by one, speech, movement, understanding -- she studied and remembered every moment. This is a powerful story about how our brains define us and connect us to the world and to one another.

I was speechless when I first saw this video.
I was moved when I saw it the second time.
The wonder of our body, of our brain and how it tries to stay alive.
I am in the middle of a massive "stroke" in my life and I am having the privilege to be able to look at it, study my reactions, and learn from them.
Just like Jill.
But what I know is that I will turn to be a better human being after all this, and understand that I can choose to turn this world a bette one.
Thanks Jill, thanks MR
Thanks Rusa :)
